What?
On Saturday February 21, Fern Hill and Heartwood will be co-hosting our winter provider retreat in Goshen at the Fern Hill property. As we transition from winter to spring, this retreat is an invitation to savor the last of the stillness and snow, and plant seeds for the future.
Bring all your winter gear, and join us from 2:00PM - 6:00PM for a bonfire and small ritual to welcome in the spring and focus on our individual and collective dreams. The afternoon will include a group mindfulness practice, a "dream" ritual (designed by co-leaders), and some casual bonfire time with a light dinner.
Where?
Set in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains along the West Branch Mill River, the Fern Hill and Heartwood Expeditions properties are basecamp for most retreat and group activities. At 1,200 feet, our site is home to abundant wildlife, wetlands, hemlock forests, and rolling terrain, making it a prime location to connect more deeply with nature. Our events take place outdoors rain/snow or shine.
Why?
In our busy lives it is often easy to forget the importance of connection and community, and the value of returning to experiences that foster joy, play, gratitude, and reverance. Our hope is create opportunities for participants to connect in meaningful ways, learn new skills, and have some wholehearted fun! We are excited for the chance to spend time with old and new friends, share our collective wisdom, and enjoy a restorative afternoon/evening together.

Arrive between 1:40 and 1:50 for an official start at 2:00pm. All participants are asked to stay from 2:00pm to 6:00pm for a cohesive group experience.

REGISTRATION & COST
The event fee is $75. All proceeds for our winter retreat will go towards infrastructure for ecotherapy and community access at Fern Hill. Serena will be hosting a carpentry workshop at Fern Hill for the next round of infrastructure development April 11, 12, 18, 19 (Workshop Flier).
